SCGP 2020
The Society of Gynecologic and Pelvic Surgery (SCGP) is the reference Society for all practicians in gynecology. In accordance with the National College of French Gynecologists and Obstetricians (CNGOF), it has become the principal form of expression in French gynecologic surgery. Its annual congress is a time for practicians to gather, with about 600 health professionals every year.
Challenge
The congress was set in September 2020, but because of the global pandemic, the challenge was to maintain this meeting and the teaching it comes with, while respecting strict health protocols.
Solution
Com&Co and the SCGP put together a health protocol tailor-made for speakers, participants and partners.
All involved parties played along and respected the rules put in place, allowing us to organize the 17th edition of the SCGP’s annual congress safely.
We maintained the planned scientific program by connecting international speakers via videoconferences from their respecting centers and countries (Canada, Lebanon, Belgium…).
Outcomes
The 17th edition of the SCGP’s annual congress was a success, gathering more than 450 health professionals.
The congress took place between two critical times of the pandemic, allowing the participants to gather and exchange safely.
